We morn the loss of Wally Dallenbach

Wally Dallenbach Sr. has passed away at age 87. The Dallenbach family announced in a Statement:

"We regret to inform you that Wally Dallenbach peacefully passed away in his sleep on April 29th, 2024 almost 11 months after the passing of the love of his life Annette "Peppy" Dallenbach.
He had just spent a busy month with all his children, grandchildren, the Pepe family and was able to meet his Great grand Daughter, Annette.
Wally is up in heaven taking his victory lap with Peppy."
A celebration of Life will be held on a later date. Details to be announced soon as as more information becomes available.

Bob Funk, along with his wife Barbara were chiefs of Timing & Scoring for CART from the 80's until 2001 and were very involved in the Long Beach Grand Prix, as they lived in Southern California.

Bob passed away on Sunday morning of this year's LBGP race, after declining health for several years
